In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has produced a resource for presbyteries and congregations to help them plan and prepare at the local level.
The resource, Preparedness for Pandemics, was created to help churches “plan a response for worship and ministry continuation should the need arise.” It is divided into two categories:
- What to do NOW
- Preparing for LATER
Remember: avoiding panic, following common-sense procedure, and maintaining open lines of communication in your congregation will help prevent the spread of viral germs AND viral misinformation.
