The Nominating Committee is beginning its work once more, nominating presbytery officers, the standing committees of Grace Presbytery, and Synod commissioners. The Nominating Committee remains intentional in ensuring that diversity, inclusiveness of perspectives, and parity are central to the selection process.
All the work of the presbytery, in supporting minister members and congregational ministry, is done through committees and working groups. We together are the presbytery.
The Nominating Committee invites you to nominate yourself, a fellow church member, your pastor, and/or a colleague who has the gifts to serve and enable Grace Presbytery to thrive.
Service on presbytery committees will help you:
- Learn about neighboring churches and their challenges and best practices.
- Meet fellow Presbyterians you’ll be glad to know.
- Get to know, work with, and value people with whom you may not always agree.
- Serve Christ’s church beyond your own congregation.
To suggest someone for service – or to nominate yourself – simply complete this Nominating Form.
Completed nominations must be submitted by October 30, 2022, for consideration for 2023. However, please remember, this online process is available year-round, so you are encouraged to make nominations at anytime.
