Friends, a number of our churches are experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pastors and church leaders are urged to familiarize themselves with the Board of Pensions offerings related to dues relief and deferment for churches; in addition to other benefits, which you will find below.
It is important to understand that dues relief is not automatic. Churches need to call 1.800.773.7752 to apply. Churches that have questions or complicated circumstances are also encouraged to call.
- 1001 New Worshiping Communities and New Church Developments, and their respective organizing pastors, also qualify.
- Board of Pension representatives are working remotely to answer questions and assist you.
- Co-payments for Teladoc (medical consultation via phone or video) are waived during COVID-19 pandemic.
- The EAP (Employer Assistance Program) for mental health (offering access to licensed counselors and therapists) still offers up to 6 free sessions and to ALL family members even if they are not on the plan.
The Board of Pensions also continues to take applications for a wide-range of Assistance Grants.
