Grace Presbytery has always supported the Presbyterian Church (USA) Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program, prayerfully awarding scholarships to send its young adults to engage in mission elsewhere. The presbytery’s support of YAVs as they explore God’s calling in their lives aligns with Grace Presbytery’s mission of embodying the gospel of Jesus Christ by being a connectional church.

This special event, sponsored by Grace Presbytery, is designed to bring people together who have a common experience, allowing them to network and connect with each other as YAV alumni. The presbytery selected this YAV Alumni Day of October 21 to explore how it will work to create a sustainable ministry that supports YAV members during and after their year of service and that provides opportunities for volunteers to network and learn from each other.

Ekama Eni and Emily Mikhail, two of Grace’s most recent YAVs.

We encourage YAV alumni to attend this event for networking, sharing stories about their experiences, and brainstorming ideas to help Grace Presbytery with this ministry. Your participation is vital to the creation of a sustainable ministry that supports future volunteers as they go through their ‘year of service for a lifetime of change.’

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with other YAV alumni from across Grace Presbytery. Make your reservation by October 15. RSVP Here
