The Congregational Support Committee now has THREE grants to assist the congregations of Grace Presbytery in strengthening and/or expanding mission and ministry.

The first is the Small Church Ministry Needs Grant, which is established to assist smaller congregations (75 average worship attendance or less) of Grace Presbytery in enhancing current ministry or programs by funding the purchase of non-budgeted items for such use, including emergency funding needs. This grant is available in amounts up to $1,000.

The second is the New Ministry Start Up Grant, which is established to encourage and support the congregations of Grace Presbytery in the creation of new and innovative ministries within the congregations and communities that they serve. These funds are intended to be “seed money” that will enable congregations to create new ministries, and as such, are limited to one year of funding. This grant is available in amounts up to $3,000.00.

The third and final grant is the new Mission in a Changing World Grant, which is established to encourage the congregations of Grace Presbytery in the creation of mission opportunities and community engagement focused on individuals and needs beyond the walls of the church.  This grant is available in the amount of $25,000 per year; up to two years.

Please email the Congregational Support Committee or stop by the committee’s table at the upcoming presbytery meeting! Related applications can be found in the presbytery’s document library by searching “grant.”
