Event Details

We live in challenging times as church leaders. We are coming through a pandemic. Many of us are tired, even exhausted, and wondering about this ministry to which we have been called.

Grace Presbytery and Austin Seminary, together with Gilmont Camp & Conference Center are partnering to offer a “Come Away with Me” Retreat that will begin the evening of Wednesday, August 24th and continue through lunch on Friday, August 26th.

If you would like additional time of silence and meditation, you are encouraged to arrive Wednesday, or even Tuesday night.

This retreat is open to all who spend their hours and/or days in ministry. It is a time to get away. To breath. To be in communion and community with nature and others on the journey. Our goal is also to remember why we do what we do for Christ, and to create space to honor and love yourself.

Any and all can come. It doesn’t matter if this is your first or second “Come Away with Me” Retreat. Grace Presbytery, Austin Seminary, and Camp Gilmont invite you to come.

Grace Presbytery is paying half of the cost of this retreat to make it as financially feasible as possible.
