The third offering in the Congregational Support Committee Leadership Training Series welcomes Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
TOPIC: “Changing Seasons: Ministry for the New Normal“
Dr. Long’s field is in homiletics. He is a staunch proponent of the two pillars of preaching: strong exegetical work held alongside strong presentation skills.
Dr. Long joins us Wednesday, September 15th at 12:30 p.m. via Zoom to reflect on the ministry of preaching and worship in the “new normal,” specifically the changing context of each as we reemerge into a post-pandemic reality.
